Great dog crate furniture piece. The other reviews were not lying about how long it take to put it together. Even with being well organized and having the right tools. Took us also about 4-5hrs total and a two-person job. We reinforced the dowels with wood glue and changed our hardware to brass for contrast since we bought the black. Still scouring the internet for small brass t-straps and and slide locks to complete hardware change. Otherwise, for the price - I think it's a great great buy to keep the pup.

I love this product, fits my 40lb corgi stud beautifully. We didn't add both shelves because we are putting a terrarium there and need the clearance. I don't like the instruction illustration doesn't match on certain parts. Not clear does take problem solving. Pre drilled holes are not lined right so be ready for that. My corgi also doesn't like the texture of the base of the cage but can be improved with a cut of commercial rug. I do like this though after all is said and done and think it's a great product for small dogs and corgis, mini schnauzers and beagles

My order came with no instructions so I'm not even sure if I have all the pieces I need. I cannot find an online reference or downloadable instruction guide either through the manufacturers website or on this page.;**Update**;Changed to 5 star as a pdf of the instructions was sent. The unit came together with little issue, and seems pretty stable. Enough that I'm confident the dog won't be able to break it.

Works perfectly for our needs, multi-functional and good looking, much better than an ugly dog crate sitting in the living room. Recommend.
