We have not yet built this, but based on what we saw and heard during delivery and then in our security cameras, we thought this would be in pieces. A small/petite woman driver literally dragged it to our front door then DROPPED it, from it's long side, down to the concrete porch. I was livid after watching it especially because we were at home and HEARD the sound it made! (Box / packaging also says to handle with two people. There's a reason for that. Box is long and heavy. Anyway, we did open it up and at first glance, all seems well. The directions truly depict SO much work though. Lol! We've bee putting it off - and yes, there are two of us which is also 'required' for a good build' according to directions. This is a relationship tester. :) Not sure if we're able to edit reviews here, but if so, I'll be back to add images and update.
