This bookcase arrived early. I wasn't sure that we would be able to put all of the pieces together, but we put it together in no time. I really like the bookcase and it looks great in my hallway.

My biggest worry was shipping damage. The 2 packages weigh 100lbs+ each, and FedEx laid them across my front steps, but somehow nothing was chipped or broken, and it was here in 2 days. It takes every bit of 4-5 hours to assemble, and although I'm always skeptical of cam-locks and knock-down furniture in general, this piece is pretty well built and has nice, adjustable cabinet hinges so you can adjust everything you need. There were NO spare parts, not even the tiny nails for the backer boards, so be careful unpacking and keep things sorted. Pay close attention to the hinge installation, as the doors have to be offset outward to allow for the drawers to line up. Looks pretty nice once done!

The material smelled funny coming out of the box. It will take two people to put it together. The smell is better after wiping it down with some essential oil spray. The look and size is perfect for my space.
