LOVE IT! Reread all the instructions before you build it so you don’t have to take it apart like I did but it’s not to hard to build if you do it right the first time. It looks really good and feels sturdy. No issues with scratch so far. The drawers work very nicely and of all the furniture I’ve built this was the first time I built drawers that went in right the first time.

Comments about the side box are true. It would he nice if there was another screw to add stability because it does rock. The instructions can be a little confusing, and I did have to build the drawers twice to have the desk face the way I wanted it to. Otherwise, it was very easy to build, maybe 3 hours to put together by myself with mistakes, and is very true to the pictures in color and quality. I do think that it is very beautiful, and I selected to build it as an L shape but since the upper part of the desk is not connected, it could easily be moved to the long straight version. It takes some trial and error, but it is a good desk, and there is no sagging in the middle. It wont hold a huge amount of weight, but its a quality desk for normal day to day activities. The drawers are also deeper than I thought, which was a very pleasant surprise. Very happy.

I really like the functional MCM design. Although this is not a hard wood desk and most of the parts are particle board the major pieces are heavy and the desk is sturdy. The only piece that could use some redesigning is the small box/bookshelf in between the two legs. I had to use a few of those small clear plastic wedge pieces to get the box to stay in place when putting items in/on it.
