Purchased two. The shelves are very narrow. Heels will not fit, sneakers barely fit. Found a work around to not have all the shelves fixed so every other can be eliminated without decreasing structural integrity. Very happy overall and they do hold a lot of shoes!

Worked perfectly for the containers I wanted to put on each shelf. Bought two to go side by side and makes great craft materials storage. We did fasten the tops of the shelves to the walls for stability using the enclosed hardware. Putting the units together is a two person job but not difficult.
My only complaint is with the Home Depot website itself - this item is an online only purchase but it was NOT obvious. In fact, it seemed like it was telling me pick up was available two hours away. My husband thought the same thing when he looked at it separately from me. So we drove two hours away just to be told by a store employee that it’s an online only order. Four hours of driving for absolutely nothing. Kind of irritated that our whole evening and gas money could have been spent differently if Home Depot would add TWO words to their online orders for clarity: ONLINE ONLY. Apparently we were supposed to be able to deduce this by a faint gray line going through the search term. How hard is it to add two words for clarity?

I love it! The quality is great, but I wouldn’t recommend it for shoe sizes over 8 or 9, since the space between each pair isn’t very wide
